Excellent on its own, or served as a sandwich. As a side, try the spicy cilantro slaw.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs pork loin roast
- 1 Tbsp Butter Olive Oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup Bourbon Maple Balsamic
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Place pork loin roast in slow cooker.
- Mix together Butter Olive Oil, rosemary, ground sage, salt & pepper, and garlic. Rub over roast.
- Pour 1/2 cup water around the roast.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- About one hour before roast is done, shred it with a fork.
- In a small sauce pan, combine Bourbon Maple Balsamic, brown sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, and 1/2 cup water. On med-high, heat and stir for about 2-3 mins, until mixture thickens.
- Pour over shredded pork, and cook for another hour.
