Excellent on its own, or served as a sandwich. As a side, try the spicy cilantro slaw.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs pork loin roast
  • 1 Tbsp Butter Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon Maple Balsamic
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Place pork loin roast in slow cooker.
  2. Mix together Butter Olive Oil, rosemary, ground sage, salt & pepper, and garlic. Rub over roast.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup water around the roast.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. About one hour before roast is done, shred it with a fork.
  6. In a small sauce pan, combine Bourbon Maple Balsamic, brown sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, and 1/2 cup water. On med-high, heat and stir for about 2-3 mins, until mixture thickens.
  7. Pour over shredded pork, and cook for another hour.
